Blankspace
Blank Space, a visual art house in Oslo dedicated to reconnecting people to art as well as bring awareness to illustration, animation, comic books, street art, concept / production design and more, is now offering artists studios.

Studios come in three sizes, great whether you are a digital designer, illustrator, or large scale painter.

All spaces include a free membership to Blank Space, which gives you a huge array of advantages such as free drawing workshops every week, exclusive digital content such as tutorials, lectures, demos, interviews and more. You would be given discounts to touring workshops we hold from foreign artists such as Sterling Hundley, Ellen Weinstein, and Charles Brownstein, in addition to local workshops we arrange collaboratively with Hausmania, NISS and other creative institutions in Oslo. We are also working to get discounts through certain art supply stores, or possibly even having a store right in our building….

In our building we also have a full-scale gallery, with renowned international artists being exhibited every two months. We are currently booked for shows through April 2016 with artists such as Neil Ross, Sterling Hundley, Cartoon Saloon (from Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea), Sigbjørn Lilleeng, Harikrishnan Panicker,Stayone KD, Martin Whatson and more. It is possible to participate in an annual group show, as well.

For more information, as well as pricing and move-in estimates, please contact Liz Ramsey at blankspaceoslo@gmail.com, or visit us at our current location in Kværnerbyen Friday – Sunday when we are open from 11:00 -17:00. (Please note, this is not our permanent location and does not have studio spaces to view).
